A Fun Day of Fall Festivities

Apple picking, pumpkin patches, corn, grey skies & chilly days....Nothing like Fall in the Midwest

I convinced Albert to drive 1.5 hours from the city to take me apple picking in Woodstock, IL at All Season's Orchard. He didn't exactly understand why going to a farm in 40 degree weather was really "fun." I think I sold him on the corn maze (or convinced myself otherwise) and so we went.

He's an aspiring photographer and quickly found many things to take pictures of once we got there. And as with any outing, I always like to dress the part! Decided it was time to bust out my apple shirt (yes, I have a shirt with apples on it), my felt hat, cargo vest and rain boots for a trip to the farm. It was really chilly when we got there (40, windy and it has been raining earlier in the day) so I had a down coat on for part of the day. Below are a few pics from our trip... hope you all are now inspired to go out and take your own fall holiday (or just look the part! :)

Albert calls this my "Senior Picture Pose"
Here's another one!

Made it through the corn maze!
Biggest apple ever!
Working Hard
Which corn maze?!
Trying out the hamster wheel!
As you can see, I'm quite photogenic!
